Un movimiento súbito y fuerte de viento o aire, o (rara vez) una ráfaga rápida de algo como emoción o energía.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Se usa principalmente para viento ('a gust of wind'). Puede usarse de forma figurada ('a gust of laughter'), pero es raro. Nivel de formalidad neutral. Suele aparecer en 'gust of [algo]'. No confundir con 'breeze' (brisa suave).
