Soldados ou pessoas nas forças armadas que operam armas grandes ou artilharia. Em alguns contextos, também pode se referir a pessoas que atiram com qualquer tipo de arma.

Normalmente refere-se a funções militares ligadas à artilharia ou armas pesadas. Pode, em alguns casos, referir-se genericamente a pessoas armadas, mas costuma ser usado em contextos militares ou históricos. Não é termo comum no dia a dia.
