衛兵は、重要な人物や場所を守る特別な軍隊の兵士です。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に公式または儀式的な軍隊の部隊を指し、警備員や民間のガードには使いません。「guardsmen」は複数形で使われることが多いです。
