Definition

একটি ভবনের সেই তলা যা সরাসরি মাটির সমান। সাধারণত রাস্তা থেকে ঢুকেই এই তলায় পৌঁছানো যায়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

ব্রিটিশ ইংরেজিতে 'ground floor' বলতে এই তলাকেই বোঝানো হয়। কিন্তু আমেরিকান ইংরেজিতে এটি 'first floor' হিসেবে পরিচিত। বিদেশি হোটেল বা ভবনে ভিন্ন নম্বরিং হতে পারে, সতর্ক থাকুন।
