'গুহা' সাধারণত বড় গুহার জন্যও ব্যবহৃত হয়, কিন্তু এখানে ছোট ও সুন্দর বা সজ্জার জন্য তৈরি গুহা বোঝানো হয়েছে। 'Grottoes' শব্দটি বিশেষ করে বাগানে, পর্যটনস্থলে বা ধর্মীয় স্থানে ছোট গুহার অর্থে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
