Continuar por muito tempo de maneira chata, cansativa ou irritante. Normalmente se usa para algo negativo que parece não ter fim.

'Grind on' é informal e quase sempre negativo, usado para descrever algo entediante que parece nunca acabar, como reuniões longas. Não confunda com 'grind' (moer) ou 'grind through'.
