グリーターとは、来店や来場したお客様に挨拶して迎える役割の人です。店舗やホテル、イベントでよく見られます。

「グリーター」は実際には大型量販店やホテルなどでお客様を笑顔で迎え入れる担当者を指します。「store greeter」「event greeter」など職名で使われ、通常の受付業務（問い合わせ対応など）とは異なります。
