Definition

植物の一部を別の植物に接ぎ合わせ、一体化して成長させる方法です。医療分野では組織をつなぐ意味でも使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に園芸で使われる語です。「接ぎ木の方法」「バラの接ぎ木」など。医療の「皮膚移植」にも使いますが、あまり一般的ではありません。「graft（汚職）」とは異なります。
