Definition

グラデーションは、ある距離で何かがどれだけ変化するかを示す言葉です。数学では直線の傾き、デザインでは色や明るさのなだらかな変化を指します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に数学、科学、デザインの場面で使われます。「steep gradient」「color gradient」「temperature gradient」など。'gradation'（段階的変化）とは意味が異なります。
