"good graces" in Korean
Definition
누군가의 호의나 신임을 얻어 그 사람으로부터 인정받고 있는 상태를 말합니다. 보통 허락이나 신뢰를 얻기 위해 노력한 후에 사용합니다.
Usage Notes (Korean)
주로 상사나 선생님 등 중요한 사람의 신임이나 호의를 의미합니다. 일반 친구 사이에는 잘 사용하지 않습니다. 'win someone's good graces', 'back in someone's good graces'와 같이 씁니다.
