何かや誰かのそばまで近づくこと。距離を縮めて接近する意味です。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「近づく」は注意や警告でよく使われます。フォーマルには「接近する」もありますが、日常会話でよく使われます。比喩的距離には使いません。
