讓某人完全自由地做他們想做的事,不加干涉或限制。常用於某人或動物可以隨心所欲時。

較為過時,在英式英語和文學中較常見。常用於動物(如馬),但也可指人。切勿和 'give a head' 混 淆,含義完全不同。現代則常用 'give free rein'、'let them do as they please'。
