慣れる

Definition

新しいことにだんだん慣れて、普通に感じるようになること。

常に 'to' の後に名詞や動名詞が続きます（例：'get used to the weather', 'get used to working late'）。急な変化ではなく、時間をかけて慣れることを表します。すでに慣れている 'be used to' とは区別してください。

I can't get used to this cold weather.

この寒さにはどうしても**慣れる**ことができません。
