No hacer algo a tiempo, como el trabajo, las tareas o los pagos, y por eso tienes cosas pendientes para ponerte al día.

'Get behind with' es informal y suele usarse con tareas, trabajos o pagos. En inglés británico es más común que en americano, donde suelen decir 'get behind on'. No significa apoyar ni se refiere a la posición física detrás de algo.
