‘Gen’ kelimesi, özellikle içeriden veya faydalı bilgi anlamında, İngiliz İngilizcesinde kullanılan gayriresmî bir ifadedir.
Usage Notes (Turkish)
Daha çok İngiltere’de, gündelik ve samimi sohbette geçer. ‘good gen’, ‘the gen on...’ gibi ifadelerde sık kullanılır. Amerikan İngilizcesinde neredeyse yoktur.
