家具

椅子やテーブル、ベッド、ソファなど、座ったり寝たり作業したり物をしまうために部屋に置く大きな動かせる物のことです。

通常は数えられない名詞で、「some furniture」や「a piece of furniture」と言い、「furnitures」と複数形にはしません。よく「オフィス家具」「木製家具」「家具を動かす」などの表現で使われます。

We bought new furniture for the living room.
