一点から枝分かれしているものを表します。道や川、動物の舌など、二つ以上に分かれている形に使います。

主に名詞の前で使われます（例: 'forked tongue', 'forked road'）。自然や動物など分かれたものの説明に使います。食器のフォークには使いません。
