Definition
Bir nehir veya akarsuyun suyunun sığ olduğu ve yürüyerek, hayvanla ya da araçla geçilebilen yerlerdir. Aynı zamanda bu tip yerleri geçme eylemini de ifade eder.
Usage Notes (Turkish)
Kelime genellikle doğa, coğrafya ya da tarihi anlatımlarda geçer. Çoğul hali birden çok geçiş noktası içindir, fiil haliyle 'he/she/it fords' kullanımı vardır. Ford (araba markası) ile karıştırılmamalı.
