Definition

「Flush」とは、水の流れで何かをきれいにしたり流したりすること（特にトイレで）。また、表面が揃っていることや、顔が熱や感情で赤くなることも指す。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

最もよく使うのは「flush the toilet」（トイレを流す）。顔の赤みは「flush with embarrassment」のように使われる。建築では「flush」は段差なく揃っている意味。
