"flush away" in Korean

씻어 내다물로 흘려 보내다

Definition

물을 이용해 어떤 것을 씻어 내거나, 하수구나 변기로 흘려보내는 것. 완전히 없애버리다의 의미도 있음.

주로 욕실에서 오물이나 쓰레기를 물로 씻어낼 때 사용. 'toilet', 'drain'과 자주 쓰이며 감정적으로 사용할 때도 있음('flush away your worries'). 약간 격식 있는 표현.

Please flush away all the dirt from the sink.
