Definition

何度も同じ話題を繰り返して、人をうんざりさせること。直訳で「ムチで打ち殺す」という意味もあるが、ほとんど比喩的に使われる。

会話など非公式な場面でよく使われる表現。同じ話題の繰り返しを批判する意味。直訳の意味は歴史的文脈以外で使わない。
