Definition

'Flees' বললে বোঝায় কেউ কোনো বিপদ বা ভয়ানক কিছুর থেকে দ্রুতভাবে পালিয়ে যাচ্ছে।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

এটি গল্প, সংবাদ বা ইতিহাসে বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয়। সাধারণ কথায় 'runs away' বা 'escapes' বেশি শোনা যায়। যেমন, 'flees the scene', 'flees the country' ইত্যাদি অনানুষ্ঠানিকভাবে বলা হয় না।

খরগোশটি জোরে আওয়াজ শুনেই **পালিয়ে যায়**।

She flees from the burning building.
