曖昧にせず、ためらいなく、強い態度で発言や拒否をするさま。特に「拒否する」「否定する」などで使う。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
'refuse', 'deny', 'state' などの動詞を修飾し、はっきり断ったり否定したりするときに使う。時に冷たく聞こえる場合もある。
