Definition

تحريك شيء، خاصة الذراعين أو الساقين، بسرعة وبشكل عشوائي. يمكن أن تعني أيضاً محاولة يائسة أو فقدان السيطرة.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

غالبًا ما يُستخدم "flail" لحركات جسدية قوية وفوضوية، مثل "flail your arms". يمكن أن يكون حرفيًا أو مجازيًا ("flail about" عند الارتباك أو الفشل). تعبير غير رسمي، ولا يُستخدم لحركات لطيفة. لا تخلط بينه وبين "fail".
