"fit on" in Spanish
Definition
Ser del tamaño o la forma correcta para colocarse sobre algo, especialmente ropa o partes. Se usa al probar si algo se puede poner o ubicar bien.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Se usa mucho al probarse ropa ('fit on the jacket') o ver si algo cabe en un lugar ('fit on la estantería'). Es expresión cotidiana. No confundir con 'fit in' (pertenecer/encajar socialmente) ni 'fit into' (meter dentro de algo).
