空に明るい光や大きな音を出して祝いやイベントで使われる小さな爆発物です。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

多くの場合「花火」と複数形として使われ、『花火を見る』『花火を打ち上げる』などの表現が一般的です。パーティー用のクラッカーには使いません。イベント自体（花火大会）も指します。
