Definition

「find」の三人称単数形で、何かを発見したり、見つけたり、物事について判断・感じたりする意味です。

「find something」「find out」「find something + adjective」などで使います。「find」は意見を述べるとき「think」より少しかたい表現です。

She finds her keys under the sofa.

彼女はソファの下で鍵を**見つける**。

He finds the answer in the book.
