Definition

Filled का मतलब है किसी चीज़ को इतना भर दिया गया हो कि उसमें खाली जगह न बचे या बहुत कम बचे। इसका प्रयोग बर्तनों, जगहों, फ़ॉर्मों या भावनाओं के लिए भी होता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

यह अक्सर विशेषण की तरह 'be' के बाद या संज्ञा से पहले आता है: 'The glass is filled' और 'a filled glass'। लेकिन रोज़मर्रा के बर्तनों के लिए 'full' ज़्यादा आम है। 'filled with' बहुत प्रचलित है, जैसे 'filled with water' या 'filled with hope'। फ़ॉर्म के लिए सिर्फ 'filled' की जगह 'filled in' या 'filled out' अधिक स्वाभाविक लगता है।
