'Fill out' मुख्यतः अमेरिकन इंग्लिश में फॉर्म या दस्तावेज़ के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है ('fill out a form'), जबकि ब्रिटिश इंग्लिश में 'fill in' ज़्यादा आम है। 'Fill up' (पूरी तरह भरना) से भ्रमित न हों।
