Definition

フェアとは、人々が娯楽、展示、商品の販売、成果の発表などを目的に集まるイベントです。地域の祭りや大規模なビジネス展示会などがあります。

‘フェア’や‘博覧会’は地域祭りやビジネス展示会の両方に使われます。‘ブックフェア’や‘キャリアフェア’などの表現もあります。‘公正’の意味にはなりません。
