Definition

এটি এমন একটি খোলা জায়গা যেখানে মেলা, সার্কাস অথবা বিভিন্ন বড় জনসমাগমের অনুষ্ঠান ও খেলা-ধুলার আয়োজন করা হয়। সাধারণত সেখানে খাবারের দোকান ও ঝুলার ব্যবস্থা থাকে।

শব্দটি স্থানকে বোঝায়, অনুষ্ঠানকে নয়। যেমন: 'মেলার মাঠে', 'মেলা মাঠ ঘুরেছি'। পার্মানেন্ট পার্ক নয়, সাধারণত অস্থায়ী।
