Definition

「延長」や「エクステンション」は、何かを長くしたり大きくしたりするために追加されるものです。たとえば、期限の延長、追加のパーツ、髪のエクステ、またはソフトウェアの拡張機能などがあります。

複数形で使われることが多いです。「hair extensions」、「ソフトウェアの拡張機能」、「締め切り延長」など、用途に応じて言葉を使い分けます。「expansion（拡張）」とは区別します。
