'EP' es una abreviatura de 'Extended Play', un tipo de grabación musical más larga que un sencillo pero más corta que un álbum. Generalmente incluye de tres a cinco canciones.

'EP' se usa mayormente en el ámbito musical y entre aficionados. Se pronuncia letra por letra: 'E-P'. No debe confundirse con un álbum (más canciones) o un single (una sola canción). Común en la jerga de la música actual.
