亡骸を墓や建物に納めた状態。または、何かによって完全に覆われて閉じ込められた状態も表す。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に詩的・歴史的・文学的な文脈で使われ、埋葬だけでなく「氷に閉じ込められた」など比喩的にも用いられる。日常会話ではあまり使わない。
