何かを完全に囲むこと、例えば壁やフェンスで囲むこと、または手紙や封筒に何かを同封すること。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
フォーマルや書き言葉で使われることが多いです。「a wall encloses」や「encloses a check/letter」のような表現が一般的。同封や囲む両方に使います。「includes（含む）」とは区別しましょう。
