ذو شكل بيضاوي، أو يستخدم للتعبير الغامض أو غير المباشر، غالبًا عن طريق حذف بعض الكلمات.

غالباً يُستخدم 'بيضاوي' في الهندسة كشكل، أما في التعبير اللغوي فيدل على الحديث غير المباشر أو حذف بعض الكلمات ('تعليق بيضاوي'). رسمي أو شبه رسمي.
