Definition
ひじを使って他の人を押しのけたり、スペースを確保したりすること。比喩的に競争して場所を取ることもある。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
主に人混みや競争で強引に進むときに使われます。「elbowing your way」「elbowing out」などの表現に注意。軽く触れる意味ではありません。
