Definition

কিছু ধীরে ধীরে আকার, সংখ্যা বা শক্তিতে কমে আসা। সাধারণত সময়ের সাথে সাথে কমে যায়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

সাধারণত আনুষ্ঠানিক ও লিখিত ভাষায় ব্যবহার হয়। 'numbers', 'supplies', 'hopes', 'resources' ইত্যাদির সাথে বেশি চলে। আকস্মিক না, ধীর এবং ক্রমাগত কমে যাওয়া বোঝায়।
