Definition

"دروغ" هو مظلة صغيرة أو جهاز يُستخدم لإبطاء أو تثبيت مركبة مثل الطائرة أو القارب.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

"دروغ" هو مصطلح تقني يستخدم غالباً في الطيران والملاحة البحرية. لا تخلط بينه وبين "دواء". عبارات شائعة: "drogue chute" (للطائرات)، "sea drogue" (للقوارب).

Examples

The pilot released the drogue to slow down the plane after landing.

أطلق الطيار **مِظَلَّة السَحْب** لإبطاء الطائرة بعد الهبوط.
