從街道通往住宅或建築物入口的短私人道路，供汽車進出或停放。

‘Driveway’ 在美式英語中常用，英式英語則也用 ‘drive’。常出現在 '停在 driveways 上'。不要和 ‘車庫’（garage）混淆，是房屋與街道間的短私道。
