Adormecer lentamente, muitas vezes sem se aperceber. Normalmente usado quando alguém começa a adormecer suavemente ou involuntariamente.

Expressão informal e suave; normalmente refere-se a adormecer gradualmente, não a distrair-se. Usada muito em histórias ou situações calmas: 'drift off to sleep'.
