何かをゆるく他の物の上に掛けて、それを完全または部分的に覆うこと。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

多くの場合、布や柔らかい物（毛布、コート、タオルなど）をゆるく掛ける時に使われる。'cover'は全体を覆うが、'drape over'は部分的でゆるい場合が多い。
