Membasahi sesuatu dengan air atau cairan secara menyeluruh; juga bisa berarti memadamkan api atau cahaya dengan cairan.
Usage Notes (Indonesian)
'doused' biasanya dipakai untuk memadamkan api ('doused the flames') atau membuat sesuatu benar-benar basah. Lebih dramatis daripada sekadar 'membasahi'.
