認為某事可能不是真的或不會發生；對某事不確定。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))

通常用於過去式，表示不相信或不確定。常與 “if” 或 “that” 搭配，如 “doubted if...”，“doubted that...”。語氣較正式或中性。不要與 “suspect” 混淆（suspect 更常表示相信某事是真的）。
