まぬけばか者

Definition

頭が悪かったり、物事を理解するのが遅い人を指す言葉です。少し古風で軽く侮蔑的な表現です。

「まぬけ」「ばか者」は古めかしく、ふざけ半分や冗談で使われることが多いです。親しくない人には使わないのが無難です。

The two dolts forgot their homework again.

あの二人の**まぬけ**はまた宿題を忘れた。
