'Disparity' সাধারণত অর্থনৈতিক, সামাজিক বা স্বাস্থ্যসংক্রান্ত বড় পার্থক্যের ক্ষেত্রে হয়; ছোটখাটো পার্থক্যের জন্য 'difference' ব্যবহার করতে হয়। প্রায়শই 'income disparity', 'gender disparity' প্রয়োগ হয়।
