自分がどこにいるか、時間や状況がわからなくなり、混乱すること。方向感覚や場所、状況に対する認識の喪失も含まれます。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
主に医療や移動、心の混乱などで使われます。「confusion」より場所や時間、方向の認識の喪失に特化しています。「spatial disorientation」「emotional disorientation」のような言い回しがあります。
