কেউ বা কিছু অপ্রত্যাশিতভাবে হঠাৎ করে আর দেখা যায় না বা খুঁজে পাওয়া যায় না এমন ঘটনা। সাধারণত এটি লোক, প্রাণী বা জিনিসপত্রের ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহার হয়।
