指示指令

Definition

権限のある人や組織から出される、従うべき公式な指示や命令のこと。主に法律や組織、行政分野で使われます。

複数形で使われることが多く、公的・ビジネスシーンでよく使います。「発行する」「従う」「実施する」といった動詞と合わせて使います。「ガイドライン（指針）」とは異なり、従う義務があります。

The manager gave clear directives to the staff.

マネージャーはスタッフに明確な**指示**を出した。

All employees must follow the new directives.

全従業員は新しい**指示**に従わなければならない。

The government published several directives about travel safety.
