Definition
Uma 'amolgadela' é uma pequena depressão ou marca numa superfície causada por um impacto ou pressão, geralmente em metal ou materiais duros.

"Dint" é formal e pouco usado no dia-a-dia, exceto na expressão 'by dint of' (por meio de). Refere-se geralmente a marcas de embate em superfícies rígidas. Não equivale a 'scratch' (risco).
